German tourism in the Balearics increases by 30% during the winter

During the first day of the ITB Tourism Fair held in Berlin, the vice-president of the Balearic Islands, Biel Barceló, announced an increase in German tourism during February, April and March in conjunction with the regional government's new promotional strategy: Better in Winter.

This strategy strives to improve the product, promoting gastronomy and culture to help diversify income during the Winter, Spring and Autumn months.

The Winter season achieved great results on the island and the numbers in Spring are expected to be excellent.
