The area of Sant Carles is full of almond, fig, carob trees, and is dotted with beautiful farm houses. It is small, but with great bars and restaurants and it is presided by a whitewashed church built in 1785. Sant Carles has decades of intense cultural activity, since in the 50s many intellectuals chose it as their place of residence. Every Saturday in the summer and during part of the off season it opens the market of Las Dalias, just outside of the village, which is one of the most charming and established. On the market stalls you can find traditional clothes and white Ibizan shirts as well as casual clothes, crafts, jewelry and objects of hippie inspiration from all over the world. Nearby are some lovely beaches, like Cala LLenya, Cala Mastella and Cala Nova.
